Welcome to the Advent in 10 Minutes online study at First Church. We're a week late because someone misplaced/lost/cannot find the signup sheets! I ask your forgiveness for this mistake. Fortunately, we've been able to recreate the list with the aid of Janet Krech and Joe Settle. If you receive an invitation to join in error, please disregard and you shouldn't receive any further emails. But it you want to be part of this adventure, let's get started.
Here are directions for viewing this week's video:
1. Go to www.theworkofthepeople.com .
2. Sign in with my credentials at the top right. Email: davidreid24@gmail. Password: FirstChurch1
3. In the search box near the top, search for Bringing Light. This search box seems to work best when you don't use quote marks. Just type in the words.
4. Watch the video with artist Aaron Strumpel on Advent homecomings and renewal.
5. If you wish (and I hope you do) post something about your thoughts about this video. Aaron is an artist; not a theologian.
6. Feel free to respond to posts that others have put up on the blog.
Lighting the advent candles at the end of the day and reading Cindi’s devotional renews my spirit during this demanding season. My hope is also for Peace.
