3. In the search box near the top, search for Resurrected Christmas.  This search box seems to work best when you don't use quote marks. Just type in the words.
4. Watch the video with Rev. Rudy Rasmus. Rasmus is co-pastor with his wife, Juanita, of St. John's Church in downtown Houston. It's a large United Methodist Church that ministers to people of all economic means. He's in mission every day and he says he can't just wait for Christ. What do you think about his attitude about Advent?

Homecoming trip

I don't have the tradition of annual trips that Aaron does, but I did make a special trip to my home state just before Advent this year. I did experience the slow time that he talks about -- a full day just sitting around with my stepbrother and his family; then the next day, a slow, leisurely meal with other relatives from across the state. This was a homecoming. And I tried to use it as the launch of Advent.

Welcome to the Advent in 10 Minutes online study at First Church. We're a week late because someone misplaced/lost/cannot find the signup sheets! I ask your forgiveness for this mistake. Fortunately, we've been able to recreate the list with the aid of Janet Krech and Joe Settle.  If you receive an invitation to join in error, please disregard and you shouldn't receive any further emails. But it you want to be part of this adventure, let's get started.
